Who may receive information

We may use providers for website hosting, security, email, backups, technical support and referral-link operation. We expect them to receive only the information needed for their work and handle it under appropriate terms. If you follow a link to an external provider, that organisation receives information directly under its own privacy notice.

We may disclose information where law requires it, to protect legal rights or site security, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the relevant business with appropriate safeguards.

International transfers

Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires it, we use an approved transfer mechanism or rely on another lawful safeguard. Email us if you would like information about these safeguards. Some details may need to remain confidential.

How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including security, correction history, tax, accounting or legal requirements. Server logs are normally kept for a limited operational period; correspondence may be kept longer where it records a published correction, permission, complaint or commercial relationship. Backup copies are removed as part of the backup retention cycle.

Your rights

Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to ask for a copy of your information, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, or withdraw consent. We may need to confirm your identity. Some requests are subject to legal exemptions. Send a request to us@latitude60.net.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address the concern first.
