Where the information comes from
For rules and official processes, we use sources such as government guidance, legislation and regulators. Market articles link to reports and figures, with attribution to the organisation that produced them.
The source links in an article take you to more detail. Its date and location label help you tell which report or rules you are reading. For advice about your own situation, speak to a qualified adviser.
Changes to an article
A correction or update may appear as a dated note, a change to the text or a new headline. We keep important explanations of what changed so readers can understand the correction. If leaving a page live would mislead readers, we may withdraw it.
